A project to explore the possibilities of the future based on local resources. I participated in a research project where I regularly visited local cities to learn more about areas suffering from a declining population and economic stagnation from factory workers and other residents. As a result of the research, our team decided to organize a science class for children at a local chemical company. Although it was a small event, more attempts like this to bring companies and residents together will deepen human interaction in the community and spread the unique values of the region, which are not well known. Children, in particular, will feel a sense of pride in their hometown by learning about the work of local professionals and may be motivated to find employment there in the future.
